The University Grant Commission (UGC) has invited online application from the ST (Scheduled Tribes) of Tripura states to pursue higher education. The last date of application is 31st August 2017. The government will give Rs 3500 for the general degree program and Rs 5000 per month for technical and professional courses ( including Medical and Para Medical Courses) under the ISHAN UDAY Scholarship Scheme - 2017.
