DDA Housing Scheme Extended Last Date

Only 8,000 buyers apply while 75,000 forms were sold for the DDA Housing Scheme till the last date of the applying date. so DDA has extended the applying date till September  11. The authority on Wednesday extended the last date of application and also relaxed the forfeiture clause on surrendering of the house.

 Now the buyer surrenders the houses with in the 15 days of allotment of demand letter then no penalty and buyer returned the houses after 15 days of allotment of the letter, 10 per cent of the registration amount will be forfeited.

Banks were not ready to give the loan on the registration amount due to the forfeited clause.  Banks had argued the DDA to remove the forfeited clause of  25 percent registration fees on surrendering the house after allotment.
