DDA is going to build one lakh flats in next five years. DDA will build 20,000 flats each year.On the occasion of the launch of the existing housing scheme, former Union minister Venkaiah Naidu had announced that by 2022, DDA would complete 20000 flats every year. A meeting was held in the DDA last week about preparations for this. Jaya Prakash Agarwal, Principal Secretary, Land and Housing, DDA said that we will get one lakh new homes available to the people by 2022.
DDA's biggest housing scheme will come in 2020. So far Delhi Development Authority's biggest housing scheme came in 2014. In this, Delhi Development Authority builds more than 25000 flats. Although this scheme of DDA remained in disputes due to its small flat size, and about 11,000 people surrendered their flats for this reason. Now DDA is claiming to have come up with 26000 flats in 2020.
DDA's ongoing Housing Scheme-201 7 is getting the cold response so far, but the Authority has prepared a plan for the housing scheme for the next 5 years.
