The state government of Uttar Pradesh launched a scheme to provide financial and social help to the farmers and weaker section of the Uttar Pradesh. It is named as Mukhyamantri Kisan Aur Sarvhit Bima Yojana. Earlier the scheme was known Samajwadi Kisan Aur Sarvhit Bima Yojana, but the Chief MInister Yogi Aaditynath changed the name of the scheme as Mukhyamantri Kisan Aur Sarvhit Bima Yojana.
Under the scheme, the government will provide the Bima Care Card to the beneficiaries of the state. in the accidental case, Rs 5 lakh will be given to the beneficiary nominee and Rs 2.5 lakh will be given in the case of physical damage by the government. Read More
